What is Yoga for me today?
Until now Yoga has been a gift I offer myself, bringing me calm and a better knowledge of my physical body; I have begun to notice beyond this that Yoga helps me to gather and balance my body, mind and soul, to access knowledge of the emotions that live within me and as such, it gives me the opportunity to gradually know myself a little more.
It is becoming a an important foundation for my life as it improves physical wellbeing but more importantly mental well-being. It is awakening an inner reality that had been sleeping and through Yoga I am able to channel each emotion more readily, the repressed as well as the expressed.
If I had to answer this question with just one sentence I would say:
“Yoga is the purest way to travel to the center of my being.”
